We are currently recruiting volunteer staff for the opening of KYOTOGRAPHIE. Do you want to engage with the art world, have a passion for supporting artists, want to experience Kyoto’s art scene from the inside or just want to get involved? Then why don’t you join us to liven up this year’s festival? The work is not too difficult and will take place mostly during the festival throughout the months of April and May. Japanese language ability is required to be able to explain things to customers and for staff to communicate with each other in Japanese.

What level of Japanese is required to apply?

Internship

It depends on the person and team you work with. As a lot of communication will be in Japanese, you will often be expected to be able to communicate at least at a conversational level.

Support Staff

Japanese language ability is required to be able to explain things to customers and for staff to communicate with each other in Japanese.

But although information for Support Staff is basically provided in Japanese, we will do our best to provide you with basic information and help you understand. Also, daily operation is not that complicated and there is always other staff(such as Venue Leader) to help you. Let’s enjoy the festival together!!
