To those who felt the mysterious charm of tomason—why not hold on to that feeling, grab your smartphone or camera, and head out into the streets for your own observation challenge? Would you like to share your discoveries at this public presentation event?
This event is supervised by Iimura Akihiko and Uehara Zenji, the current members of the Hyperart-tomason Observation Center. It’s a great opportunity to share your own discoveries with everyone.
Even if you’re still unsure what tomason is all about, you’re more than welcome to join! Come and immerse yourself in the world of Tomason through surprising objects and lively presentations.

Akihiko Iimura (Photographer; Member of the Hyperart-Tomason Observation Center)
1954年東京生まれ。1983年、麻布谷町の煙突を登って撮影した写真が『超芸術トマソン』の表紙に採用され、「煙突男」として知られる。超芸術トマソン観測センターの同人として活動。2000年より「芸術状物質」の作品を発表。

Zenji Uehara (Photographer; Member of the Hyperart-Tomason Observation Center)
1961年埼玉生まれ。宙玉レンズや手ぶれ増幅装置など、独自の手法を探求する実験写真家。1983年、美学校考現学研究室で赤瀬川原平に学ぶ。授業の一環として超芸術トマソン探査に参加する。
