FREE
- 2024.4.28
- 11:00―12:30
Hachiku-an (Former Kawasaki Residence) 2F Main Hall
KYOTOGRAPHIE 2024 officially opened to the public on Saturday April 13. An international photography festival of this scale requires months of planning and many people to bring it to life. Exhibition construction began in early April, with artists, curators, scenographers, and project managers meeting in Kyoto.
In this talk event Lucille Reyboz and Yusuke Nakanishi, co-founders and co-directors of the festival, will share insight into the making of KYOTOGRAPHIE 2024. They will introduce the unique Kyoto venues housing each exhibition, share highlights to look out for in the main program, explain the context of the scenography and exhibition design, and share insights from the artists themselves.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear the story of KYOTOGRAPHIE 2024!
