Fridays for Future Kyoto
Fridays for Future is a worldwide grassroots movement mainly led by youth that demands local governments and companies take countermeasures against climate change based on climate justice, and was started when Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swedish student started the movement with a sit-in protest in front of the Parliament House in 2018. It started its action in Kyoto in March 2019, with high school and college students leading climate strikes and workshops, as well as sharing information through social media.

ILHA DAS TARTARUGAS
"Ilha das tartarugas"!! is a Roaring-Drum-Playing-Marching-Group with the meaning of ILHA DAS TARTARUGAS being 'Turtle Island' in Portuguese.
Since its start in 2004, they have been promoting the charm of the 'Samba Afro' as festival music, while growing the group by taking in numerous new members. The parade, conducted 100% by manpower, 100% live instantly creates a reaction with the vibes of the time, place, and people present, triggering chemistry that no one can anticipate.
